Redesigning the clinician experience for YouthCHAT

We redesigned the clinician dashboard and youth questionnaire experience, making it easier for clinicians to manage reports, review screening results and access questionnaires. The project was delivered on a tight timeline, with close collaboration between design and development throughout.

Making complex screening information easier to navigate

The existing clinician experience needed a clearer, more intuitive way to manage screening reports and access questionnaires. With a range of information being captured across different areas, the dashboard needed to make results easy to find and interpret without overwhelming clinicians.

Alongside the dashboard, we also redesigned the questionnaire experience used directly with young people, creating a more approachable and streamlined flow.

With a quick turnaround, another key consideration was creating a system that could be implemented efficiently and extended over time.

Building a flexible foundation for future reporting

‍

Working closely with the developer throughout the project allowed us to move quickly and make decisions together as the designs evolved. Rather than designing each report as a one-off, I focused on creating reusable components and patterns that could be easily implemented and adapted across the dashboard.
